Eldorado
Subdivision |
|
Eldorado is a beautiful, mature area in Douglas County known for the pride which the residents take in their property. The area contains 562 platted lots, not including common areas, and the County Assessor shows 533 single
family dwellings in the subdivision. The final plat for the first lots in Eldorado dates to April 1969, and the final re-platting of the area dates to November 1977. The subdivision is known, legally, as Sanitary and Improvement District #206 and governed by a Board of Directors elected by the residents of Eldorado. (Contact information for the Board of Trustees may be found on the SID News page.) The board meets on a regular basis and residents are encouraged to attend and participate. Likewise, there are Homeowners Associations for each Eldorado area (I, II and III) which meet regularly to discuss area issues and plan events. This web site, although not a SID site and very unofficial, was built for the residents of the area; as a tool for them to communicate, to obtain information, and to exchange views and information. It is also a tool to disseminate information important to the community, so be sure to check it often for important news.
There is no cost to participate, no fees for anything; this site is provided by John Hetrick, a Realtor® associated with Deeb Realty, and a long-time resident of Eldorado. Want to see other things not currently included on the site? Let us know and we will consider adding it. Have an issue you want to air or discuss? Simply click on the feedback button! Have a service you operate out of your home - like baby sitting, lawn service, photography business - or do you have something for sale and want to let people know about it? Let us know and we'll add it to the want ad page for you. For those who maintain the entrances to our area - thank you for making us look so nice! (I am informed the entrance islands are maintained through a contract between the SID and Great Estates Lawn and Landscape.) |
